Simple template-based sites start at $500 and small business sites start at $1000 at work up. Professional business and organizational websites start around $2000 to $3000. Large branded organization and corporate sites start at $4000 and work up. Pricing can vary widely depending on the complexity of the site, graphic and branding needs, and volume of content as well as the time spent on discovery, content mapping, and branding. What other Outside Costs are Involved with a Website?
Small businesses and organizations can purchase a basic hosting plan that will meet their needs for about $10 a month. The company we recommend offers unlimited storage space, unlimited e-mail addresses and a wide variety of other features. Rates for larger businesses and organizations start at between $10 and $50 a month but can run much higher for complex CMS systems, although free alternatives like Drupal and WordPress are also available and used by companies both big and small.
A registered domain name (e.g. mysite.com) is about $10 a year, but some hosts will cover this cost for free.
